BACKGROUND
REHAU are a leading systems and service provider for polymer-based solutions in construction, automotive and industry.
We have been working with REHAU as chief guardians of the brand and lead retained agency since 2018. We work across three main arms of the business: window solutions, building solutions and furniture solutions.
CHALLENGE
REHAU was bringing a new range of windows to the market called ‘Flush Fit’ and needed to create a marketing campaign to support the launch. Getting buy-in from fabricators and installers to market this new range, whilst underlining the benefits to the end user, was the main objective.
As it was a brand new product, there were no images of the windows in context to accompany the campaign. Eye-catching, high-quality imagery is of course integral to a product launch, but having Flush Fit windows fitted into a home for a photo shoot was not an option.
SOLUTION
As a solution to the lack of quality imagery, we suggested creating a series of high-spec computer generated images that would showcase the Flush Fit windows in a variety of settings.
We shortlisted a selection of base images which would be ideal for the target market in the UK, ranging from detached homes to country cottages. Using technical CAD drawings, we created exact replica CGI Flush Fit images onto the pre-selected based images.
These became the core images for the promotion of the range. We also created the product launch campaign, titled ‘Framing Treasured Moments’, and came up with a new name for the range, which is now known as Rio Flush Fit.
RESULTS
This was the biggest ever product launch by REHAU’s window solutions arm. The images we designed saved REHAU more than £30,000 in photography costs and were able to beautifully illustrate the product in situ in a variety of appealing and attractive settings.
We provided 10 images which took two weeks to design, from start to finish, and were also shared across the EMEA for local use.
